When it comes to eating, the most popular choice by people everywhere is either Chinese or Italian. People who love Italian food, but are worried about weight are wondering if it is possible to have low carb pasta. However, in the world of Chinese food, they have noodles too; but lacking of the excessive carbs found in Italian pasta. But why is this?

The Italian noodles which are used to make pasta are made from dough. This encompasses grains and eggs and many other ingredients, but it is the use of grains that but its carbohydrate levels off the chart. At the same time, Chinese also uses noodles, but since it is not Italian it is not considered to be pasta. However, Chinese noodles for the most part are not made from grains, but rather straight from eggs which means that they are higher in protein.

So the real question is can you make a low carb pasta using Chinese egg noodles? The answer is a definite yes. The egg noodles have a unique taste to them, but none the less are sturdy enough to be used in place of Italian noodles when making a low carb pasta. If you have never used these noodles before, then it will take some getting used to when first learning to cook them, but in the end you will find that egg noodles are a whole lot easier and faster to cook the Italian noodles.

Experiment and have fun in the process. You will be able to increase your protein intake while at the same time reducing your carbohydrates. This will make sure you have plenty of energy to burn off those fat reserves without having to worry if the body is going to rebuild them seeing as though it is carbohydrates that are responsible for storing the fat in the first place.
